Connect people to a more compassionate end-of-life experience.
Use technology to make guidance, support and information easier to find when people are navigating loss.
Born and built in Indianapolis, Bereave is a small team trying to make one of life’s hardest experiences a little easier to navigate — for employees, families, HR teams and managers.
After two friends lost their parents prematurely, they experienced how the system around loss often creates more confusion and pain than relief.
By supporting each other through their own losses, one thing became clear: the way we experience death needed an overhaul. Countless hours of research and conversations with people who had lost someone, supported a friend or family member, or helped an employee through grief led to Bereave.
We built Bereave to help people navigate death at home and at work. Facing the hard stuff head on, and creating even a few moments of clarity and peace when people need them most, is still the foundation of the company.
